Virtual Economist & Monetization Manager
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document business models (including monetization methods and in-game economies) to drive revenue with optimal consumer experience
- Collaborate design and development team members to implement economic and monetization models
- Work closely with designers and live teams to establish and maintain stability of virtual economies
- Provide constructive qualitative feedback in an effort to continually improve gamer experiences
- Provide on-going analysis of and improvement methods for multiple virtual economies
- Identify new opportunities for innovative monetization methods and design implementation methods for current and new games
- Lead design of virtual and real goods merchandising strategies
- Lead development of strategies to increase player conversion, in-game spending and retention while maintaining player immersion
- Lead customer behavioral analysis to identify and evaluate opportunities and methods to increase ARPU
- Monitor industry trends regarding monetization, virtual economies and currencies and communicate relevant developments to design teams
- Monitor real time and aggregate data and report on performance of games. Provide data-driven recommendations to design and live teams for optimization
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in online games and virtual economies
- Bachelors degree with a focus on business, economics, math or related quantitative discipline required; MBA/MS preferred
- Posses strong analytical skills, complimented with solid knowledge of game design and sound business acumen
- Demonstrable understanding of virtual economies and mechanics of social gaming leading to user acquisition models and costs, revenue generation, and user retention
- Creative thinker who can drive new initiatives
- Experience with virtual economies, dynamic currencies (including earned and purchased), and proven results working with varied approaches to monetization. This position will work closely with finance, marketing, and product development.
- Comprehensive understanding of micro-transaction business models and virtual goods consumption
- Experience with using statistical data to make business decisions
- Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting results and drawing conclusions
- Must be a strategic thinker with strong organizational and analytical skills

Senior Game Designer
Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, create and maintain detailed game design documentation throughout the project cycle
- Manage and lead game design initiatives, ranging from new features to system restructuring
- Collaborate with distributed group of team leads and designers to develop ideas for game content
- Take full design responsibility for the creation of zone/quest content up to and including map layouts, quest trees, dialogue, and encounter documentation
- Participate in creation and development of overall game vision
